The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu has pilled crowds on his his maiden visit to Soroti Anglican Diocese.
He arrived Soroti city yesterday and was given a thunders welcome by thousands of cheerful Christians led by the Soroti Diocese Bishop Rev. Kosea Odongo.
The crowds camped at Awaja Bridge to thread up his arrival where he was later intercepted by the thousands of Jeressar High School Students who filled up the road with excitement of seeing his face.
He spent few minutes with the Jeressar High School students and other Christians who had camped along the Soroti-Mbale high way to wave at him.
While raising his holy hands of blessings to the Students crowded on his path, the great man of God implored them to be faithful to their God and be prayerful at all times to keep them closer to God.
“I advise you my Children to do the right thing at the right time and with the right persons, this will help you to succeed in life and sky rocket in everything that you do”, he briefly said.
His entry to Soroty city paralyzed the usual business as everyone could struggle to wave at him.
